About Ruth

Ruth is a setting of the Book of Ruth from the Bible, a story about an immigrant from Moab (a country regarded as hostile to Israel ) who is accepted into an Israelite family. A famous quote is, "Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God" -- While not as well known as characters such as King David or Moses, Ruth is an important person particularly since she is in Jesus' genealogy.
